Previously, Nippon Lubricants has been certified by many world-class car manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volvo, Volkswagen, Porsche, Jaguar Land Rover, etc.; the products include VW VW50800/50900, VW50200/50500, Mercedes-Benz MB229.5, MB229.52, Porsche IME 1107964-A, Volvo VCC RBSO-2AE, Jaguar Land Rover IME 1206001-A, and many other car manufacturer certification standards.

With the increasingly stringent carbon emission requirements for automobiles around the world, major automobile manufacturers have made energy-saving technologies a top priority, and the requirements for energy-saving contributions to motor oils have also become more stringent. Since the implementation of Euro 6 emissions, European automakers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Volkswagen have introduced their own internal energy-saving motor oil standards. Under such strict certification standards, Nippon Lubricants has still obtained the BMW BMW longlife-04 standard certification, which is undoubtedly a high degree of affirmation of the quality of Nippon Lubricants.

The BMW longlife-04 standard that Nippon has been awarded is a long-lasting, fully synthetic motor oil standard developed by the BMW Group specifically for BMW engines equipped with particle filter exhaust systems. The standard is based on the C3 performance criteria of the European standard ACEA-2016. Compared to the previous BMW longlife-01 standard, BMW longlife-04 puts forward higher requirements for the environmental emission efficacy of engine oils, requiring a sulfated ash content of no more than 0.8% and a total alkali TBN of no less than 6 while maintaining a high-temperature, high-shear viscosity of not less than 3.5 mPa-s.
Engine oils that meet this standard are commonly referred to as low ash engine oils, and are particularly suitable for use in engines with particle traps.

Nippon's fully synthetic lubricants are made from the world's leading suppliers, with exclusive high-quality formulas that dramatically improve the anti-wear performance and fuel economy of the oil, making it more environmentally friendly and energy-saving, as well as effectively preventing the clogging of the particulate traps, protecting the exhaust gas treatment system, and providing more efficient protection.
